At this time, the Minnesota STEM Ecosystem is not accepting any new Letters of Interest for partnership grant opportunities. The submission portal was open from August 11, 2025 – September 12, 2025. Our highly qualified cross-sector, cross-system grant evaluation committee is in the process of reviewing the submissions.

This competitive partnership grant opportunity was provided as part of the investment from the Minnesota Legislature. The STEM Ecosystem will be awarding grants to nonprofit organizations that support youth STEM career exploration and workforce development through STEM internships, AI Pedagogy, the creation/expansion of robotics and drone programs, development/expansion of VR learning programs and other emerging technology learning programs, the development of educator externships in emerging technology and in-demand career pathways.

If your organization has submitted a Letter of Interest, we anticipate issuing invitations to complete a full application by November 1, 2025.
